hey guys. how are all of you?

Alright, I have a optional black tie event to attend on the 9th of October. Optional by tux, but a suit is required. I live for these parties, but now I have a problem....

I have 7 suits, and each doesn't really say what I wanna say at this party. The party is a grand opening party for a weekend salon and spa. There are going to be very high end clients attending...a lot of which are going to be single/divorcee middle aged women (which I love). I want to be the best dressed at this party.

What I am planning to wear is this:

a black on black pin stripped(the stripes are black) with a black, blue and fine orange stripped shirt and a black cross lined tie to pull out the black of teh shirt.

All my suits but for one are Hugo Boss...so teh quality is up there...the other one is armani :o but its brown.

I want to say "I'm a fine business owner(film) and I know what I want and I take it" I'm shooting the commercial for this spa so my work is going to be displayed at this party. I'm going stag in hopes to catching me a woman :big grin:

From what you can imagine me wearing...am I saying the right message to these women?

Don't worry for those of you that want them. I'll post pictures after the party :)

    BUT HELP!!!!!!! :hs:

Hugo Boss makes nice suites. When I was younger that is all that I would wear. The color pallet you are going with works well. I think your message will be received just as well. Good luck...

Sounds good. I love the pin stripe look.

I personally would wear a subtle high quality colored tie to help break up the balck a little bit, like a deep silk blue tie with a pattern in the weave.
