Haven't talked to you guys in a while.

I'm still here in Camp Pendleton at beautiful Camp Talega. The camp from the movie Heartbreak Ridge for you that have seen it.

I haven't been able to get to a computer thanks to our CO giving us less libo than every other company.

Anyways, iloc is gay and we are all looking forward to getting to Iraq.

One cool thing we did is the Stu Segall program. It is a studio set up in 2 locations, Miramar and San Diego. The studio pays arab actors to walk around a city identical to an Iraqi town, and they go through different scenarios (i.e IEDs, firefights, raids, cordon searches/knocks) --- it was a lot of fun. We had SIM rounds (paintball rounds on a 9mm shell) to have a lot of fun with.

How have you guys been? Any news? When are you shipping out Accord?

    Definitely watch the video too.

My squad leader is on there saying "Look at all this, this is what we are going to be seeing when we get over there."

    That training was great.

    I've been WAY better!

Currently on TAD in upper VA/Wash DC.

I got no funding, a speeding(recklace driving) ticket, broke down car, and some long days...

    Worst TAD ever....

    What's new with you?

Just where half of our batallion was stuck for iloc. That is Talega's soul purpose these days.

Most are from in or around Perrysburg and Toledo.

We did a big raid operation in downtown Toledo in March, which was a lot of fun. You probably heard about it on the news.

    I am from Southwest Missouri.

The Weapons CO i'm with needed a lot of Marines. Reservists all throughout the regiment who haven't been to Iraq yet were chosen to go.

Both. I hate California, but I am excited to get to Iraq.

More than anything I am just wanting to get it over with.
