    :eek: That woofer looks like it can produce some serious SPLs! Question though-- how does it fare in terms of bass tightness and tone? I'm into really tight, deep, but somewhat lean, well-controlled bass.

    Yeah, it is VERY loud.

    Tightness? Well the enclosure it is in right now does not allow for it to be very tight, it sounds kinda muddy. I am working on a new enclosure for it as we speak though, which sould fix this problem. I have a behringer feedback destroyer for it to make its frequency response flat, unfortunatly my room is so full of problems, it is very difficult to fix right now. Once I get my new enclosure done, it will be good. The 1803 is not to be used much past 60hz though, it is a very inductive driver. So it is more of a true subwoofer than most speakers.
