Is it possible for a virgin to have herpes? Is it transmitted sexually only?

Genital herpes can also be transmitted (spread) to a newborn during birth if the mother has an active infection. It can be passed through oral or anal sex as well

Does that some things up for you?

That's correct. So if you didn't get it from your mom who may of had it then either you(if that's what your getting at) go it from some kind of sexual contact!

Depends on what you mean by "virgin". The HSV-1 virus can be spread through oral sex.
