    Anyone have any good therapy workouts for herniated discs? My manager herniated his L3 lumbar three days ago.

    I herniated my L4...not fun. I agree with Ceaze that PT is the best option...I never had PT and really wish I had.

    birddogs, bridges, 2-part crunches, leg raises (side-lying) all helped me with my heirneated L4-L5.

    I did go to a PT and they had me do things like body squats, walking on the treadmill, and a lot of core exercises.

    hmm..i heard leg raises were bad if you had lower back problems.

    i think he meant side-lying leg raises (which he should have noted), because i recommended them to him

    Yes, all praise the almighty Ceaze :bowdown:

    Seriously though, walking + those exercises made a HUGE difference :bigthumb:
