Hernia Sugery...

    Ugh, so im having surgery for a hernia within the next two weeks... I will not be able to lift for 6 weeks. UGH.

    Any advice on how to maintain muscle mass and not lose all of it? Obviously alot of protein, but am I forgetting something?

    all i could do was try to keep the protein intake up for 6-wks but still lost lots of lean mass after surgery...

    just rest and come back with fresh motivation!

    Ugh... How much protein did you eat a day?

    I was hoping that if I keep my protein around 300g a day the loss would be minimal....

    ive never heard of a sugary hernia before

    not much...

    2 scoops of max milk twice a day plus reg food... basically u can eat all the protein in the world but you're gonna get atrophy if you're not lifting...
