So thats the main components right there, i already have a NVidia GForce 4 5700 Ultra graphics card in my computer right now that i will just transfer to the new one. I have never built a system by myself so i am just making sure i have the right motherboard and the correct components and they are all compatable with each other. Do you computer guru's think this is a good system to put together? with cd burner and everything it will be around $450. Thanks.

would be better if you can afford socket 939 CPU and mobo, they surpport dual channel DDR. That also means that your RAM must be two identical stick instead of one to take advantage of the dual channel DDR.

Also see if you can get an 160GB HD...

i dont really need that big of a HD, i have a 40g on my computer right now and its at like 40% full, so even a 80 gig is going to be to big. But ya i was kind of tight on budget so this is why i was going with this setup, it all came out to about 440, so i figure that is a pretty good deal. Is that the right memory for the motherboard? i wasnt sure if that is the corret one or not, thanks.
