    If all goes well, the site will be live for a private beta March 31st! This has been the past 6 months of my life.

    There are still some things that need to be adjusted, but 90% of the site is there.

    Looks fantastic. Great work. Even if it doesn't go anywhere I bet it'll still feel like a huge accomplishment.

    I'm think I'm going to learn RoR. Looks pretty easy. I've grown tired of PHP.

    Best decision I have ever made, you will never look back. There is so much CRUD associated with PHP it makes me sick.

    For example, want to find a user?

    http://localhost/members/show/1

    Code:
    class MembersController < ApplicationController
      def show
        @member = Member.find(params[:id])
      end
    end

    :bowdown:

    Development time, securing relationships with affiliates, and lots, and lots of money for marketing.

    Do you have a feature to "block" people ?

    Im sure nobody would want some crazy stalkers following them.

    Yeah, there is a lot of crud associated with php. A decent framework can elliminate a lot of the bullshit though. :o PHP Just has a bad rep because all of the bad code out there.

    Yeah, I've heard about CakePHP. I almost started using it because a friend of mine (really good coder) wouldn't shut up about it.
