    how do you like the A80? i'm seriously considering one, so what's your first impression? i'm no expert on composition, so i'll keep my comments to myself :o

    i like it a lot. it's a big step up from my mostly point-and-shoot fuji 2600. it's got several pre-set modes which work pretty well, and then enough manual controls to let you play. picture quality has been excellent, and the interface that it uses is nice too :)

    im lookin to get an a80 as well....dont know how much better it will be than the sony dsc-p7 i got now tho.

    well, i'll say this. if you have a basic point-and-shoot, like my old camera (fuji 2600), and you like photography, it will dramatically improve how much you enjoy taking photos (not to mention, the quality of the photos you can take).
