Well here it is. I picked it up today after work. My question is about the last two pictures. What's the deal with that? I got an empty 9mm casing in this envalope.

It's also used in some states for Ballistic Fingerprinting. Maryland, NY, and I think Cali. But you're in Michigan so you don't have to worry about it at all.

yours came in a different case than mine. mine looks the same from the outside, but no foam on the inside, it is molded to fit the mags and gun and all that

I think they're doing the foam so they can "custom" build it around whatever they need to put in it. There are so many different options available now with the gun (all 3 "XGear" things and up to 3 hi-cap magazines) they need to be able to build around all of them. Sweet case though.

    Great purchase.

(From an XD owner) Make sure you keep it cleaned and oiled after use. For obvious reasons. :wiggle:

I'm going to get my SC 9mm slide refinished. Just havn't decided on a finish yet.

Ditto on the refinish. I think I'll wait a little bit and have it sent out for the Duracoat finish and Tru-Glo TFO sites and installation all at once. Should be about $135 for all that shipped.

I already cleaned the gun and threw some Armadillo on the slide, haha :x:

Mine came in the same case :coold:
Besides this pic that I just took like 5 min. ago it has only been in the case once since I got it.

edit: don't mind the loaded mag in the case. i took that one out of the gun and put in the empty high-cap mag b/c that's how it came in the case so it would fit the cut-out foam

Is that an Allen wrench between the holster and the gun? If so what's it for? Sorry for the simple question, never owned an XD.

yeah. it's to tighten or loosen the holster depending on how tight you want it to hold on to the gun. that holster sucks though. :o
