I've been training for about 5 months now on a typical 4 day split with each day starting with a compound movement. Zero cardio whatsoever.

Routine can be seen here (the first one that's in bold)

    http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=3789438

The 4 compound movements that I used for their corresponding days have progressed as follows:

    Bench: 185 - > 295
    Squat: 175 - > 315 :mamoru:
    Deadlift: 275 - > 460
    Seated miltary: 135 - > 235
    Bodyweight: 220 - > ~240

Diet was pretty clean (no strict or set diet, however) but I'd usually have a pitcher of beer (80oz) on Tuesdays and I drank heavily (emphasis on heavily) on literally every Thursday and Saturday and a handful of the Fridays. Diet slipped a little while drinking or the day after when I was hungover and didn't feel like eating.

Every day I took 6 caps of fish oil (1200mg, 216mg EPA, 144mg DHA each), a multivitamin, and the last 2 weeks I've been taking glucosamine as well.

I didn't lift with any real goals in mind... I just wanted to get back in shape after a string of injuries that essentially made me inactive for 16 months and enjoy the health benefits of regular exercise. I don't play sports or have any functional use for raw strength other than coordination and injury prevention but I enjoy doing compound lifts regardless due to the other benefits.

Anyways, here are the pics. Keep in mind that I'm 6'6" and "looking big" or "filling out" isn't exactly a cakewalk. I've also never posed like this in front of a camera :mamoru:

Lets see.... at 6'6 you put 110lbs on your bench in 6 months, grew a set of traps, and are holding a ton of water in your face. How much did you run?

    Thanks :h5:

I have an entire day for just shoulders and traps. I only do shrugs for traps on that day so it's pretty much just shoulders. Traps get hit on deadlifts... regular deadlifts done on back day and light SLDL's (think 30-40% of 1rm for sets of 10-12) on leg day

We've been over this... it's not like I started with BTC then changed to pump my ego, I've always gone to parallel since a shoulder injury gave me pain to go further.

Doesn't matter... had I gone full ROM from the beginning it still would have progressed. I've been doing it the same the whole time.

So what do you suggest? Enduring a great deal of pain at least once a week so evolude from offtopic.com respects me more?

Since the last thread I made with routines I have begun doing a much wider grip than I've been using and I can get to about 1" of my chest before the same pain hits me.
