    65 Mustang Coupe
Stock Body Panels - no scoups or fiber glass
    Full stock interior

331 Stroker - 450 - 475 ish HP at 6500 to 6800 RPM is what the engine guy is going to build (Beau from mental addiction motorsports in Phoenix)

    10 -1 comp
Vic Jr Intake (Port Matched to heads)
Vic Jr Heads (stock, no porting)
Roller Cam (not sure what specs, mabye you can tell by the HP goal)
    750 Speed Demon BG carb
    MSD Ignition
1 5/8 in. headers (something nice, like some hookers or something)

    Tremec TKO 5 speed
    9 inch 3.89 trac loc
Road Race Susp from Mustangs Plus (very nice stock style pieces, nothing custom)
    Flaming River 16-1 steering box
    SSBC 4 wheel performance discs
16 x 8 Vintage 45s (trans am racing series looking wheels)

Will 450 ish HP at the Flywheel be nice for a 3000lb car? It should be a nice ride, mainly for the street and the curves. I want to run in the mid 12's - high 11s at sea level with some slicks. The car is set up for RR

I am going to post plenty of pics when she is finished.

Sounds sweet. I had the option of buying a 68 notchback with a 500hp Cleveland in it for $10,000cdn. The guy also had a tunnel ram intake for it. You might want to look into getting a 4-link also.

Well, I am just going to keep the car sleeper and I already have the stock style suspension.

I set it up for handling (for a 65) on hi-perf stock suspension.

What would a 4 link do for the car?

Why didn't you buy the 68? That would be a sweet ride.

The 4-link will put more traction to the gound and keep the car controlled. Useful in drag but not so sure in road coarse. I didn't by the 68 because I needed 10g's, and a place to put it. I still have to build my garage hopefully sometime this year.
