I'm the idiot in his boxers.

I was drunk and didnt plan this pic, but since Its the only shirtless one I have...What weight do you think I have to get down to for my belly to be gone(assuming no huge gain/loss of muscle)? What BF would you estimate I am? I'm 6ft 1 btw.

I was 228 a few months ago and I thought I'd look amazing @200lbs. But I was 208 tonight at the gym and it seems like I have to go a lot lower than that to lose this gut. :hsd:

    Thanks for your input brolies

If you're planning to losing the gut, then eat right and exercise consistently until it's gone. Thats basically it.

been eating clean and exercising all summer and I dont plan to stop. I've lost 20 lbs since 5/26. I just want to quantify my goal into a number to shoot for, Since I'm almost at my original goal.

You don't look to have a ton of muscle...I was about the same as you at the same weight @ 5'11 and I didn't start looking really good until I was in the 170s. Lose the fat first, then worry about gaining muscle IMO.

I was riding my bike daily as my exercise, but the brolies here all said building muscle helps to burn fat etc etc, so now i alternate lifting and biking.

I still am eating 2200ish calories(less than maint) So losing weight is my first priority for sure.

Everyone needs to lift...Berardi's general rule of thumb is that if you want to change your physique, you should be contributing 5 hours of intense exercise per week, so a few lifting sessions and a few cardio sessions per week are sufficient. Are you still losing weight steadily at 2200 cals per day?

I started at 238lbs and even at 210-220 I was steadily losing at 2400-2500 cals a day, but it got to the point where I was in the 180s and had constantly bumped the calories down to keep the progress going, and I was at 1700 calories a day and not losing jack shit. It wasn't until I bumped my calories back up to 2400-2500 that I started losing weight again.

Oh, and do HIIT too. Nothing works better for fat loss, at least for me.

Ya, I think I'm still losing. My last week was kindof a vacation week so I slacked a bit and didnt weigh myself. But 7/5 I was 211 and tonight I was 208.

I would sincerely estimate another 30lbs to lose or so before you start getting in the 10% range of bf

200lbs at under 6ft is massively built

you would need to go down to 170 to lose all the fat if you have not much muscle.

lol seriously, you look a ton better, but if you put in beginning stats, you should put in after stats too.
