Fuuuuuuu maybe I won't buy the 24 yet. I'd rather have the 35 I think...

Or I could always just sell the 24 when the 35 comes out....yeah that's what ill do

I think I want the 24 1.4! reason being, the 35 is pretty close to the 50 1.4... but at the same time, I wouldn't mind replacing my 50 1.4 w/ something tack sharp. :noes:

Love the 35 f/2 but the improved af alone would be nice :)

The other rumor which is pretty much 99% true is a new 200-400.

i think i rather have the 35mm 1.4 than the 24mm 1.4, since the 14-24mm is good enough

I'd guess it will be 500-800 $$ more than the canon equivalent.

Yummy goodness (just a mock pic), but damn. I'm hoping this makes 85mm 1.4s plummet in price and then I'll grab them all up and hoard them.

I agree fully. Grab the 85 1.4d while you can. It's an awesome lens.

Splain Please. Manufacturing a new lenses doesn't all of a sudden push prior models into new and more esteemed territory generally, especially as of late with the improvements in each line of lens. Nikon obviously knows the following of its current 85mm 1.4 and the new version will be better, no doubt about it. If anything more people will sell their current version wanting to move up, no?

Think about 80-200mm and the the 70-200mm VR1...prices were solid at $1600-1700 forever but not there's about $1300-$1500 and the newest VR2 has only been out for what, a handful of months?
