Help!!!

    so i built a new computer, lanparty mobo, 775 cpu with 800 mhz fsb, 1 gb of kingston ram, x700 pci x video card, 320 gb sata hdd. Now my problem is, when i go to install windows, the damn thing shuts off!!! what would cause this???

    lots of things lol.

    overheating. bad ram. bad hard drive. bad video card. bad warez xp cd. bad loose screw in case shorting out something. incorrect settings in BIOS... I could go on for a long while here.

    where exactly does it shut off? Have you formatted the drive yet? need more info.

    Yeah. Motherboard shorting out on the case
