I'm going to go see a 1999 Kawi 250. That is the bike I choose for my first b/c of my age and full insurance is damn cheap on one of those. It has 24 000kms on it. He wants 3000$CDN for it. What should I be looking for when I go see this guy? He claims it was never in an accident or dropped. Reason for selling is that he is moving. Any help would be great! :bigthumb:

Bring someone who rides. They'll be able to check it out, and be much more familiar than yourself.

Other than that, there are quite a few motorcycle buying guides available on the intrawebnets.

I have the SIDI Summer Rose boot for the street - they're great and not too bad to walk around in either :bigthumb:

I've also heard some great things about the JR women's textile pants - I got the A* denim pants on closeout and they're not too bad.

    Safe riding chickie :)

Great first bike. There's enough of a dermand for them that, as long as you don't drop it/crash it, you should be able to sell it for as much as you bought it for.

Wish Kawasaki would update the little 250 some. Good bike, just old school styling. I like mine anyways, it will do me for awhile. Talking about the US version by the way, the zzr's don't look to bad.
