My post processing seriously needs help. Things seem to look dull or flat, almost plasticy (yeah, i'm using a canon :mamoru: )
I do know a lot does have to do with my poor photoshop skills as far as retouching and processing goes.

    any tips?
Been playing a little bit with adjustment layers and levels/curves but its still throwing me. Any tutorials or anything in this?

I also suck...it is really frustrating. My shit always turns out super saturated and too much contrast. Just playing with levels and stuff my eye seems to like the changes...then in the end I realize it looks like dogshit

Post processing is pretty damn easy once you get your own technique down pat.

go to adjustments and then curves and there are 3 little eyedroppers on the bottom right. click the first one, then select the blackest part of your pic, then click the 3rd one to the right and select the whitest part of your pic, then select the dropper in the middle and select a midtone.... shouldn't be a whole to to do after that.
