Here's the deal, me and my Dad are photographers and we shoot a lot of cars, motorcycles and people on a solid white painted background like you see in the image below. I need to find a better (easier and quicker) way to extract our subjects from the background to put on other custom backgrounds. I've been using a quick mask to select the subject and then go back and erase the outside edges and holes afterwards. This works for the most part but not as well as like I would like it.

Here's a typical image I work with below.....

I would like to be able to use an alpha channel to extract the bike out with ease. If this is possible, someone please fill me in on how to do it.

    Thanks!!

i don't know how to help you but you have a lot of dust on your sensor..what camera are you using? go to image->adjust->equalize and you will see the dust

I can probably do a video tutorial on this showing a couple ways you could punch it out. The thing is I don't shoot studio stuff, so I don't have any pictures that I can do the video tutorial on. I don't want to get sued or anything, so you'd have to sign something saying I can use it for a video tutorial or something. :dunno:
