ok heres the deal, i thought i could build my website with oscommerce, but i am finding it hard to understand this shit. i need help finishing it, by that i mean getting the virtual terminal, shipping quotes, meta tags, SEO tools and all that other crap done. i would prefer some one local to so cal, just so we could get together but i guess in this day and age its not needed. i am willing to pay, but i dont have much put into this, thats why i was doing it myself. any help would be greatly appreciated. email me at [email protected]

oscommerce is crap. You'll spend more money paying someone to customize it to not look like shit (let alone run poorly) than you would on a custom or at least decent ecomm solution.

Honestly, unless you want the "i do this from my garage and my website blows balls" look, then you need to look elsewhere.

Or, even better, at the OSCommerce site. Part of the reason the people there contribute is to gain paid work.

well all the web designers are asking for upwards of 4K and i just dont have that now. if i could find some one who would do it for less than i might be inclined to drop the money. one guy wanted 17K!! another wanted 70K, i was like WTF man i dont need a porn site with models. but i guess i'll keep looking
