Right now I'm running Microsoft Word 2002, with the standard US dictionary/spellcheck etc.

I'm taking a German course in university though, and need to write essays...how can I get the spellcheck/grammar check to work in German?
It says "Word cannot find the grammar file msgr3GE.dll or msgrGE32.dll for German (Germany)."
I've changed the language under Tools/Language/Set Language, but obviously there is files missing.
Does anyone know what I can do?
    Thanks a lot.

Put your disk back in and see if you did a full install or partial.

I'm not 100% sure this will fix your issue but it's what I would try first.

You can most likely add the language if it's not there....German is very common so it's prolly an easy fix. Just reinsert the disk then select Add/Modify then go to the languages section.

One thing....Be sure to tell MS to run that feature from your computer. I've had some problems with MS wanting to run things from a CD, eventhough I do a complete install. Once again MS redefines a word to what ever they want - complete is not actually complete. :) So you have to force the install to put it on your HD by telling it to run from your computer.
