Help with my Start Menu

    my programs wont show up as you can see in the pic. ive tried restoring my PC, uninstalling the xp skin. im running winxp sp2. please help me out OT.

    Obviously that skin screwed something up. Probably messed up some dll files. I don't know what to tell you.

    it worked fine for so long, i wonder what caused it

    possibly didnt jive with a windows update or something like that

    uninstall the skin and see what happens

    I'm seeing "All Programs" at the bottom of the list there.

    That's where your programs are.

    If you are looking for the old "look" for your start menu, then:

    Right click start > Properties tab > Now check to see if the "Classic Start menu" button is selected.

    If not, then select it, apply and ok.

    And vice versa of course.

    If that's where you already are, try the regular "Start menu" to see if that's what you're looking for.

    Is the machine set to view recently opened programs? That's the only thing that seems to be missing.
