I just bought a new lcd monitor. It has a DVI slot. It is DVI-a and DVI-d capable. My video card is pny ti4400 which has a DVI slot (i think - it has a blue for vga and white for dvi right?).

When i try to change to dvi-a or dvi-d mode on the monitor, it says "no dvi signal". What am i doing wrong. Thanks in advance to posters.

prolly have to right click your desktop, go to settings, advanced, etc,etc and enable dvi.

thanks for the reply. I got the dvi to work somehow. still not really sure. I just reset my comp and it started working even though i had already restarted multiple times before.

I now have a new problem. My ati tv wonder will no longer run under the current settings after dvi. Is my video card being burdened or something?
its a ti4400 and im running 1600x1200 on dvi. thanks again.
