I was approved for $1000 on dell.com, and wouldn't mind spending up to an extra 300 out of pocket. I want a computer for work which is basically normal internet usage. Might want to play a good new game, but not often. Want the most bang for the buck basically. Any suggestions? :hs:

    Basic information needed:

    Budget
    - How much are you wanting to spend?
    - What is your max?

    Uses
    - None/Light/Med/Heavy gaming
    - Industrial applications (CAD/heavy Photoshop/etc)
    - Are you overclocking?

    Specs
    - Are you biased toward anything that would save us time from arguing with you about?
    - Number of monitors you want it to support
    - What OS are you going to use? Do you already have it?
    - Are you using any parts you already own? What?

Do you know of any technology that you need/want (ie: dual vs quad-cores, chipsets, etc)?

To save some cash, drop the monitor size or ditch the speakers.

afaik every major manu has financing.. if not direct thru the manu, at least thru some retailer.

at the same time, I wouldn't finance a lappy, tho.
