I'm looking for a budget component system, probably under $200. It is a 6.5" system.

If you can give me any suggestions on what companies are good I'd appreciate it. If there is something mentionable outside my range I'll look on ebay for stuff.

What JL stuff is good, MB Quart stuff like that.

Oh, has anyone heard of Cadence? It rings a bell but I can't remember.

I found a MB Quart RCE 216 REFERENCE 6.5" for $155. Any good?

    Thanks.

    check out http://www.thezeb.com/
they have alot of CDT stuff in that price range, one of the sets is even 1/2 off because the baskets aren't the right shade of red, and its good quality too, you can find tons of feedback on most car audio forums

for an extra couple bucks i'd go with the MB quart PCEs, the premiums sound great.

that was a scam. the coloring on the basket is NOT the problem with the comps... They are a completely seperate model. Whether they are "defects", prototypes, or simply a seperate model is up for debate.... However, they have different specs than the "real" CL-61's.

On another note, I've had horrible experience with zeb's customer service. Namely with their "price match" policy where they flat-out have refused to match prices... Prices that were very reasonable, too.

www.mainstreet-audio.com is where I get my CDT gear. Been happy thus far.
