I'm using Christophers routine that he posted here

My goal is to gain weight, so I'm also using fitday and eating a lot. However I'm also playing hockey. I know this will make gaining weight a little more difficult.

What I want to know is how should I adjust the schedule, if at all, since I play hockey once a week (usually on Wed.)

Should I workout before hockey anyway? Or should I work out the day after, or 2days after, etc. How do you think I should adjust my schedule?

I play hour games, so I probably skate about 30-45 minutes. If that helps at all.

BTW thanks for the routine Christophers and everyone else.

If you are playing hockey only once a week thats nothing. Just make sure to keep your diet and sleep in check...I do the routine with 12 hours of fight training a week.

Good to know, however how (if at all) should I adjust my routine.

I mean I do workout A on Monday, then on Wed I have hockey. Should I still do workout b on Wed, or is that too much for my body?

    Thanks

How does your schedule look? I'm beginning jiu jitsu on Tuesdays and kickboxing on Thursdays, possibly Muy Thai on Fridays if I wanna make the 20 minutes drive to the other "center"

Do workout b on wednesday, a few hours apart from hockey, make sure you rest and eat in between.

    ^ thats for the mon/wed/fri schedule, i do tues/thurs/saturday...

Really intense....I can't lift some weeks because of it (for example this tuesday is circuit training then isometrics on thursday, we do conditioning in class in addition to lifting- iso and circuit work the whole body.). Each class is around 4 hours long and there is alot of cardio on striking days.... basic breakdown of a striking day:

    loosen up/warm up/ stretch...go through routine...

    ROUNDS:
18 - 20 rounds, 3 minutes each, 15 second breaks in between. Usually a few rounds shadowboxing, then double end ball/ heavy bag/ pad work each for certain # of rounds, then sparring, finished by a few rounds of knee ups or doubles or singles on jump rope.

After rounds we do balance work or neck, tuesdays nothing...then ~1 hour of conditioning.
