Help with audio replacement on a movie.

    Say, for example, i wanted to make a copy of the Wizard of Oz but replace the audio with Darkside of the Moon.

    The movie is in VOB format

    the audio is mp3

    I'm on a pc

    nero?

    There are couple ways to handle this. One might be that if you were going to make a new DVD out of it, you can add a second audio track that you can switch to while watching the movie.

    But to completely replace it. I would use a movie editor. First convert the video to something your editor of choice can read, then remove the original audio track and replace it with your once of choice.

    Avid Free should be able to do this, not sure it can read VOB though.
    VirtualDub maybe as well. Even Windows Movie Maker 2 can.
    I would end up using Adobe Premiere but that's because I have it.

    and yeah, the 2nd audio track i had thought about, but i figured i'd have to compress the movie to make room for it.
    i was hoping not to do that, but if i must...
