HELP with 2003 Yamaha Raptor 660r *cracked block*

    I really cant figure out what those pics are of.. Head over to www.moddedraptor.com and ask your question there. You can pick up a whole new 660 engine pretty cheap since the 700's came out..

    Nice looking quad. I had something like that happen to my first dirt bike...being 11 I filled the radiator with water and didn't even think about it when winter came around. It cracked the block by 1 of the water jackets. I think the cylinder had a small crack and the outside had a very noticeable one. I ended up taking the engine apart and my dad had one of his friends at work "heliarc" weld it. Not really sure what that is anymore...but I got it back and there was no crack anymore. I put it all back together and it ran for another couple years.
