Was going to just put this in the original thread but it's locked...

In couple weeks I'm going to switch the WS4SB routine for 8 weeks. I'm trying to plan it out in advance so I can hit everything I want. Here is a link to my plan: http://www.eandersonweb.com/Random/WS4SB-8week.xls

I would appreciate any input on it. It just rotates every two weeks. The exercises were picked partially based on the equipment available to me and partially based on trying to workout my muscles in different ways.

So I started doing this and I'm wondering if it's ok to add some more to it or does that defeat the purpose of a strength training workout? Like on the upper body days, add an extra tricep or bicep lift? I just don't very sore or anything in the couple days after. Maybe on the max bench days, work up to the max slower so I get more volume? Maybe give it another week or two to see if I start to feel differently?

I feel like I have more in me when I'm done, I don't get that tired from it. I think I'm just going to start by working up to my max set more slowly so I do more total reps and see how that works out.

Thats what you should be doing, the idea is to get stronger not see how much you can lift every week.

    Are you new to lifting?

Yeah, I lifted a bit in high school but I've only been lifting consistantly for the last 10 weeks or so.
