so for the past month or so, my power cord on my mbp has been quirky... the light does not stay on on it anymore... now, if i unplug the power cord, the computer just turns off and wont turn back on until i plug it back in... the gauge on the battery reads full, and istat says that it is at 70 % health, 240 cycles, 98% charged.... so im a little wierded out... when you un plug the power cord, the screen dims as if it is changing power modes, then just shuts off.....

    any ideas?

    call apple care

what you're describing doesn't sound like something we can tell you to check in a preference box or run some command in terminal, sounds more hardware related.
