I'm having a problem uh... the things it says in the title. Basically, these links for everything from house morgages to porn keep popping up in my favorites list, and my homepage is constantly hijacked to omegasearch.com no matter how many times I reset it. I've run multiple spyware removers, and killed everything on the list, yet when I reset my computer there is more, I've run a complete virus scan of my computer and removed everything, and then removed all the adware and crap, yet it STILL keeps coming back. Any comments, suggestions, or solutions? Thanks.

That fixed omega search but there are still others that replace it as my homepage then, tried using hijack this to get rid of them but it didn't work, and there's still the recurring spyware on my computer that keeps coming back instantly, and those links that keep popping up in my favorites.

What programs have you used? Were they updated? This is what you should do if you havent already

    1. Delete any spyware removal programs you have installed except for Spybot S&D, Ad Aware, and Spyware Blaster (some "removal" programs actually install their own spyware)
    2. Update Spybot, immunize, run a scan
    3. Update ad aware, scan
    4. Update Spyware Blaster, click "Enable all protection"

Also try using CWShredder and HijackThis...besure to have them check for updates first.
Not everything HijackThis list is bad, just read it's warnings before you do anything to understand what it's showing you.

The spyware removal programs I have are spyhunter and spybot S&D, I did finally get my homepage back to it's rightful place, though if it'll stay when I reset is yet to be seen. Thanks for all the help, I'll update the thread if all that doesn't do the trick.
