OK. So my brother got my computer infected, I believe he downloaded a game, and it came with it.
So what happened is that my computer gets pop ups saying I have a virus/spyware, and a Vista anti-virus opens up (I dont use vista), so I didn't click anything, instead I closed everything. There were new shortcuts on the desktop, so I deleted their original folder they were in, aswell as the short cuts. However, still getting pop ups, when i try to run my virus scanner, (zone labs), it doesnt respond. I cannot ctrl-alt-delete , because it says that the administrator disabled that function (i am the admin on my computer).

    any ideas, tips?

    thanks

yeah sorry, wasnt sure which forum. reformatting is one of the last options :/ I have 3 other drives, only 1 runs windows though. So the likelihood that it will be on one of the other drives is slim correct?
