I just installed 2 alpine 10', type s, 4ohms. Single voice coil model. I wired the subs in parallel. The amp i have is alpine MRD M300 and was professionally installed. I am pretty sure that wired the subs correctly. The problem I have is that there are no sounds comming from the subs. Anyone know why this would be the case? Did I blew the subs? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well did they ever work? If they did work, did you get smoke to come out of them? I need more information...

    • check to see if your amp is on
    • check you connections once more to be sure they are properly connected
    • check to see if the protection light is on on the amplifier
    • make sure you have rca signal into the amplifier, check it at the amp and the head unit
    • make sure the amp you are hooking to the woofers is stable at the given impedence you are trying to run it at
    • make sure your speaker wires are not pinched or grounding out and shorting your amp

that all i can think of for now, be back later.... message me if you cant get help as soon as you would like
