help pc turning off after 30 sec of running

    i swapped out motherboards cause the old one died. now when i turn on the computer it will run for 30 sec then turns off :wtc: what could be the cause of this?

    Did you put thermal paste on the CPU when you swapped it? Heat sink on good?

    could it be a power supply problem?

    It could be any number of things. If it's 30 seconds every single time, it's probably power-related. If it gets shorter the more times you try to power-on the machine, it's probably heat-related.

    it was a power supply problem, can someone recommend a good power supply
