Hey... I have a 4 channel 300 watt RMS car amplifier... When you bridge it into two channels you get 150rms X 2 at 4 ohm. I was wondering if I could re-bridge the two channels and make it a mono amp. Will the amp work, will it damage the sub or amp components? I want to power a 300 watt rms single voice coil sub.

i don't know what would happen, but i know you are not supposed to try and double bridge.

Yea, more than likely it'll go into protection. There are only a couple amps made that will bridge from 4 channels to one.
