I've tried to search for this (I'm sure someone will prove me wrong) but my search feature isn't working for some reason.

Regardless, I'm extremely interested in purchasing a car located in Michigan, mind you I'm located in Utah.

I'm wondering what experiences people have had w/ the thousands of auto shipping companies out there and also what prices you've paid.

I'm wondering if it's worth the extra $150-$300 to pay for enclosed/covered shipping considering the distance and weather as well.

So in a nutshell, any specific sites, people, prices, impressions, testimonials will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks! :wiggle:

Unless the car is very valuable, it's not worth it to pay extra for enclosed.

Most quotes are about $200-$300 extra for enclosed.

The car is going to be a 2003 CL, so basically a $24,000 car, which is pretty expensive for me. I just don't want the car to be caked in salt, get chipped up from rocks/debris.

    Anyone else? :ugh:

Then pay the extra if it makes you feel better. Like I said, I wouldn't unless the car is very rare or unique.
