So recently my imac was been going blue screen on me

Like it will randomly flash to a light blue screen for a couple seconds, then go back to normal. I have no idea what is causing this, but it has done it about 6 times so far in writing this post.

The only thing I have been doing new is I started downloading movies off of news groups again, added a second monitor, and started using airport instead of the ethernet port. I can;t really see how these would effect anything though.

I am have a new generation 2ghz imac with a gig of ram running Leopard.

here is a screen shot of istat showing the temps, it is overheating perhaps?

(take while I was running a few applications so it would have a "normal load" on it)

    Thans for any suggestions :wavey:

Try to slowly remove some of the variables. Don't use the monitor and see if that changes anything. Then don't use the Airport, etc. See if you can narrow it down.

when you connect a monitor you some times get the blue screen for a second, check your cable / plug are good, try jiggling it to see if it could be loose.
