Basically, anytime I hit a site that requires Flash 8 or above, I get a message telling me to download it. Obviously, I hit the link, go to Adobe's website & install the file. Every single time I do that, I see the revolving FLASH icon telling me I've successfully installed Flash. But when I go back to the site (doesn't matter which one), I get the same error telling me I have to install the latest version of Flash.

What gives? BTW - this has been going on for months.

Last week, I upgraded to IE 7 and I would have assumed that would have stopped the problem. But oh no. Just today it started again.

I actually downloaded Firefox just so I could visit those Flash sites that I can't access with Internet Explorer.

If you guys have any ideas as to what settings I may have screwed up, let me know. Thanks.

    Problem solved?

IE7 hasn't gone into production yet anyway - don't expect that to fix anything.

But try going into Tools | Internet Options | Temp. Int. Files | View Objects and deleting shit.

And it was doing it before I upgraded to IE7. I thought since IE6 was giving me headaches, that maybe IE7 might correct some of them. It didn't. :(

And I've been trying FireFox for about 6 months, I don't like. I prefer IE. I'd much rather fix my problem then use a browser I'm not a fan big fan of.
