So I'm in the middle of my bulk still, maybe 1.5 - 2 months left and I figured i'd switch it up a little. Actually I figured i'd have something more set in stone since I usually just go in the gym knowing what musclegroups i want to work and then winging it, so anyways I came up with this.

I was making it in excel that's why it's a pic, and I wanted to keep the color coordination!!

But anyways, here's some things I was thinking when I made it:
    1) I wanted to have both heavy days and light days for major musclegroups
    2) I wanted to include days of heavy compound movements, but still have days w/ some muscle isolation.
    3) I want to improve my vertical jump, I figured some of the stuff I put on wednesday would help. I don't really know as I've never done plyometric exercieses before.
    4) I wanted to (if possible) work all major muscle groups 2 times a week, but I also want to try and keep the exercise time around 1 hour a day.

So keeping that stuff in mind I came up with this, which looks OK for the next 2 months although one concern I already noticed is including triceps as a secondary muscle on bench days plus the isolation days that the triceps are worked pretty frequently and maybe they wouldn't get enough rest? or maybe they would, i'm not sure.

Also maybe there would be some good supersets i could throw in there to shorten time? Do those days look like they could be done in 1 hour? anyways, any feedback would be appreciated before I give this thing it's trial run starting tommorow!

btw, i've been lifting for about 2 years, so I would say I'm an intermediate lifter.

Cut it down to 4 days, 2 of those being upper body, and then the other 2 being lower.

too much volume.. do it for a few weeks and see how long you last.

Try not to do everything at once, you will end up doing nothing properly.

too much. cut it down to 4 days or a max of 5 days of lifting. Your body needs time to recover. A lot of people forget that working out breaks down the muscles, while rest days rebuild the muscles. Rest days are very important.

also, whats your height, weight and age?

    holy volume!!

5x5 squats and deads? gl with that!

too much weights, 3-4 days weights, the rest of the days, do cardio, sports, activities, practice some oly lifts, gpp, etc.

Way too much volume. I made that mistake when I first started lifting.

Ideally you shouldn't do deadlifts and squats on the same day.

You really don't need to be working each muscle group that often.

Your heavy and light days aren't really heavy and light. They are more heavy and less heavy.

i'm 22 years old, 5' 8" and I weigh 170 lbs. Man, it's hard to fit rest days in, I feel so unproductive if I'm not doing something, i figured the splits would make me have enough rest to recover different musclegroups for different days. Plus I rest on sunday =D

And as far as squats and deadlifts on the same day, I think i've always done it that way. It doesn't seem to hurt intensity and I figure while i'm doing legs already just get it all done!

I did the first day today and as I thought it ended up taking longer than an hour, so i definately need to cut some stuff.
