I have always riden cruisers. I started at 15 driving a honda rebel 250 and when i turned 16, i got my dad 82 Harley Lowrider(dyna). I live in the dorm right now, but i will move out in may. The parking at uta is pretty shit, so i am going to buy a bike to get the close parking. I have riden a feel sport bikes and i think it is time to get alitte more agile bike. I am a big guy, so i am thinking about a liter bike......maybe a 900. I am not really sure what kinda bike i want yet. Perhaps a honda, or maybe a Suzki. I would consider my experience pretty good. I have been riding for like 6 years(dirt bikes at first) and have taken the motorcycle courses.

just let me knows the prons and cons of different bikes.

i am looking to get a used bike, so reliablity would be nice.

You would love a good V-twin sport bike. If your not afraid of a Liter bike, look for a RC51.

No under the seat exhaust, but it does have dual exhaust.

Lot of torque, with a very repectable amount of HP and a 10,000 rpm redline.

Also, they are cheaper than most other bikes. And highly respected on the road compared to 600's.

I love mine, I wouldnt trade it for any other I4, (well maybe only to sell the 1000RR and buy a newer RC51)

I know in your other post you said you were use to Vtwins...

You could try looking into the SV650s, I know they make good track bikes and I've heard good things about them from people who street ride.

i am used to v twins, but i am not limiting my self to that motor. I mean i like the torque, but i am also used to 500 lb bikes. And i dont really need a track bike....just something to get me to school and get on the highway....though a bike that can handle when i need it is nice

The SV1000 or the Honda Superhawk would be infinatly more useable by you than the RC. Very torquey motors down low, good handling, good brakes, light weight, and very streetable for longer trips.

Bikes are like pants... Go try a few sportbikes and pick whichever one suits you best.

All of the big four Japanese sport bike makers offer very good bikes so it's a matter of which you are more comfortable on.

Sure, if you buy into marketing hype you'll believe that.
