I'm trying to talk the wife into letting me name our next kid Eneloop.

The first one is called Hasselblad, and the goldfish is 'f2.8'

Does the charger come with a 12v lighter socket adapter?

Although I usually just get the Rayovac Hybrids since it's easier to consistently find them for under 10 bucks per 4 aa

your 8 eneloops will cost you about 23 bucks and you can spend 25 for the charge stand and rechargeables from Nyko

anywhoo - I use Kodak eneloop knocks offs. Less than 9 bucks out the door and does teh same job as they are low discharge NiMH batts. I could care less about how much charge is has after 2 years of non use. Cause that would mean I am not using my camera enough

I'd go with Eneloops just because it's a known awesome product. I just got 8AAs, 2AAAs a 4 battery charger and C and D adapters from Costco for like $28. I think they have just the AAs by themselves online too.
