I went to the store today and looked at a few there. I really liked some of the Kershaw knives. I'd use it for normal carrying but I'd also like to use it at work. Nothing too major with it for the most part, nothing that should snap a blade anyhow. With that in mind I was looking at these:

http://store.irawoodinc.com/ke16paserebl.html - Kershaw Rescue Blur (in black, not red)

    http://store.irawoodinc.com/ke14stse.html - Kershaw Storm I

The main difference in their price is due to the speed assist on the Rescue Blur I'm guessing. Anyhow, those were the main two. If someone else has any other ideas I'm open to suggestions. Also if anyone knows of better prices elsewhere, feel free to inform me. If you're going to offer other suggestions, I'm looking for under $50 and something that won't break on me.

The more I think about it the more something easy to open would be better. Maybe one of the knives with Speed Safe.. I like the Rescue Blur, but I'm unsure about the blade. Do I really need a sharp tip or tonto style blade?

Avalanche is a bit more than I'd like to spend on a knife I'm going to 'abuse' at work. Vapor looks very nice though..

I have the red ken onion blur, non-serrated. Good knife, stays pretty damn sharp. You usually find yourself using the tip for small shit, I wouldn't get a safety-tip unless I was EMT or something like that.

.....actually mine has done the job so far, skinned a rabbit w/it this past Sunday. I am still going to get something better though, as soon as I get some extra cash.

Gotcha. I was going by prices from the webpage I posted. On there I think it's like $95 + shipping or something.

Go to WalMart and get the "Tactical" Blur for like $54.99. It's a blur, just with a tanto, partially serrated blade. It's probably the best knife I've seen from Kershaw yet. Damn baggage claim lady at LV airport stole mine. When I buy another, it'll be my 5th Ken Onion I've purchased. Being as cheaply priced as it is really helps, too. Killer deal.
