I currently have a Canon A510 3.2 megapixel camera that I have been doing quite a bit of shooting with.

Here is some of my work

I want to do some framed artwork but I think that 3.2 is going to be too small, I would like to find out what kind of camera you would recommend for me on the type of shottings that I do!

this is the first camera I have owned, all of the shots (accept the q100 and the flower pics, just point and shoot) were taken with a $20 tripod from walmart.

if you want to go slr, the rebel xt and the kit lens would be a pretty good place to start or the d50 and the kit lens for that

Entry level DSLRs can easily print out decent images 11x14 or larger. I've done 20x30" at Costco and they've come out nice (8 mp).

Proof that you don't need an expensive camera to take awesome pictures.

I've done 30x60's with my D70 (6.3mp) and they came out alot better than I thought, Slight deterioration, I think 30x40 is the max size i would go with again though.

I got my D70 used for $675 with a bunch of extra shit (that I really don't need). You should be able to find it with a kit lens for around that if you look hard enough. I wish I had half the photography eye that you do...some cool shots.
