GUN Help me mount this flashlight on my AR...

    Tagged for answer. I have a flashlight I'd like to mount, too. Mounts for Surefires are easy to come by.

    yea they are, it sucks because i've been looking at different flashlights to buy and the only thing stopping me is finding mounts for them :hs:

    i dont know anything specific but you could look into daniel defense, or perhaps ARMS :dunno:

    well, considering its a ~$20 light, you won't lose much by replacing it with a 1" diameter ~$20 light :dunno:

    i dont think i've ever seen a light mount that WASNT for a 1" light. why would you get something bigger? :mamoru:

    I like it thick? :naughty:

    I have others I could mount. But this one in particular I think would look awesome on my riced out AR.

    Oh I wasn't speaking of quality. They just don't have a wide enough mount for a 1.5" thick flashlight.

    I'd think if you wanted to spend a few bucks a local machine shop might be able to cut the ring off the existing rail mount and weld something new to the top of it and tap a couple screw holes for it. It seems like it would be a relatively cheap project.
