Its airnet and my computer is a dell dimension. so where the fuck do i put this shit
Don't Dells have built in ethernet adaptors?
Need more specifics to help you....give us details.
yeah. they do. mien is fucked up, so i guess i take that one out and put this one in?
prolly not...built in adaptors are usually built into the MB. if yours is fuxxord why not warranty it...get them to fix it for free. Perhaps it's not a fuxxord as you think tho.
im just gonna unscrew the modem adaptor shit and put my ethernet adaptor in there,
im sorry, would that work?
It might but like I said, most of these built in adaptors are built directly into the MB and are NOT removable. Keep in mind, opening your case will most likely void your warranty making it impossible to get any future warranty work done.
put it in your cd drive.
put it in a spare PCI slot.
If you don't know where it goes then maybe you shouldn't be in there...
warranty ran out a long time ago. There are spare white slots but like there are metal plates blocking the back of the case for the hole where the ethernet plug is supposed to be plugged in. i don't know how to take those off.
They pop off, or screw off.
it looks like i gotta unscrew the green "top" that's connecting alll of the metal plates.
I am bored.
I am also certified.
I will walk you through it over the phone if you want. I even have an 800 number you can call.
email me at [email protected] if you want to take me up on the offer
(limited time, I am at work and eventually my boss is coming in. At that point I got to get till work. Till then...)
