Help me get to around 8 % BF! Fitday link included..

    Hello everyone,
    Let me introduce myself. I'm 20 years old with 13% BF, and want to get to about 8% or so. Enough to make definition in my abs and look good all over. I'm 5'10 and weigh 158 lbs. Truth is I don't know how I should eat right, I don't drink soda and this past week I have been cutting out all unneccesary sugars. I am pretty active, I do two forms of martial arts. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as well as Haganah. Followed by 100 pushups/situps every night before I go to sleep.

    My goal like I said is to eat correctly to get enough nutrition to keep constant levels of energy throughout the day and get down to 8% BF.
    Please help me with some form of schedule bc I feel like what I've been doing this past week is starving myself to a point. So please let me know waht Im doing right and wrong.

    Weights are out of the question, I for one can't stand the gym and the typical routines that come with that. I'm up for any ideas regarding activities outside of the gym, but I wont do that again.

    Good to see such a productive crowd over here, I'm not looking to become an ignorant gym fanboy. My question wasn't , how do I become a gym fein and become a muscle. It was directed to how to eat correctly and get my BF levels down. I do plenty of fitness without going to the gym.

    BLKscooby, it seems you have some sincere psychological issues. I have no intention of getting 110 lbs, that is completely ignorant. I don't like the gym because of many reasons, the primary reason being time and money. I need to focus on important matters such as work and school first. I pay for everything on my own and adding another $60+ expense at the moment isn't a viable option. Thanks for your positive and helpful feedback though.

    Hey, he wants to be really skinny?? let him. More food for the rest of the world.

    Anyway, I think you need to follow some sort of bootcamp type routine where you run your ass off (do lots of cardio) and do some body weight type exercizes (push-ups, pullups, situps, crunches...anything you can think of)

    As far as diet? I dunno, try eating healthy foods as described in many threads in this forum.

    Anyways.

    1) You won't look good at 8% @ 5'10". Trust me.

    2) Sounds like you're pretty active. Eating 1500 cals/day for most people your size/age is a lot below maintenance. Throw in your physical activity and it's way too low. That should be plainly obvious to you because you feel like shit. You might feel hungry when cutting, but you shouldn't feel crappy. Eat more.

    3) There's no reason to be afraid of the gym. If you refuse to go there, you're gonna get flack from F&N.

    Cliff notes: don't cut, eat more. Man up and get a gym membership. Pussy.

    why would u worry about lowering your bodyfat if u arent a gym fanboy. dont worry about your weight bf% if your not gonna be a fanboy. no need for it.

    158 and 5'10

    isnt overweight or bad look at all. or do you just wanna do the ab shots on hotornot.com or myspace lol.


    but really there is no point i see to get a lowe bodyfat when your only 150 pounds. what do you want them ppl to see your sexy ribcage?

    gain like 30 pounds and muscle then get ur 8% bf.
