Aight, heres the deal. I have been a lazy fuck ass for the last 6 months. I have not worked out at all and its starting to really get to me but I cant get the motivation to go. I dont know if its stress, or work..but when I come home I just want to sit on the computer or sleep. I am enlisted in the Air Force and the gym is about a 3-5 minute walk. Before I joined the force I was working out 5 times a week and I had a great diet. I looked forward to working out, it was the highlight of my day. I have worked out since I was 17 years old and Im now 23. Maybe I just need to take the year off but I dont want to get too soft. I have no idea why I lost all motivation to lift. Help!

Lazyness is an addiction. Once you break the habit and get back to the gym for awhile you'll get back in the swing of things.

    p.s. - fatty!

once you get back in the gym you dont want to leave. The feeling of working out is so great. My motivation is looking better and being able to do more things for longer periods of time without getting winded.

When I look into the mirror and see gains it makes me happy, but I also see my flaws and weaknesses and that drives me to the gym in pursuit of perfection.

    HOLLA

And I also want to look good naked

Those pics should be all the motivation you need, get off your ass and into the gym. If you went through boot camp you should have no problem with being lazy like most people.

There is nothing any of us can say to motivate you. It all comes down to what YOU want to do. Look at your pics and see how you were. If you really want to get back to that way, you'll go into the gym. If not, it was a good phase in your life. Working out is not for everyone. At least you're doing something productive with your life(being elisted).

motivation is internal, it can't be provided by an outside force. That's why every January the gym is filled with new people who all slowly leave. You have to love it, it's the only way you will make the sacrifices to be there. If there is no internal drive pushing you to succeed, you won't.

If you are happy with the way you look then stay at home. I wouldn't be walking around with my shirt off if I looked like that.

    That good enough?

You're not that far off, you can get back to the 'old' body in like 3 months.

Look pretty impressive in the old ones.

errman...Pt doesnt really help. I have to lift weights and they dont do that during PT. But now that I am a PTL I will try to get out PT sessions in the gym.
