    Hey all,

    Stats - 5'7 ~200lbs 21yrs

Story - Was 250lbs but cut over the year and got down to 195. I wanted to cut down to like 170 but after showing my pics here the concensus was that I should add some muscle mass so that when I do cut I won't be a scrawny bitch. I plan on getting to 220 then cutting down to 190. Do you think 220 is too low? 190 too high? I lift 4 days a week (summer + no job = lots of spare time) and cycle 2 days a week for cardio. Over the summer my deadlift has gone from 175 to 300 for reps and my squat is at 275 and increasing from 135 or so. My weakpoint is my chest (bench 150 for reps max).

Plan - Eat a little above maintinence and lift heavy for the next 3-4 months and then cut.

Only supps I take are: ALCAR/ALA/Daily Vitamin/Whey/Creatine Monohydrate/and I was about to start taking xenedrine EFX but since I want to bulk I should prolly stop taking that.

    What do you guys think?

ur weak point is not your chest, more likely the triceps and back
what is the goal? hypertrophy or strength ior both?

My goals are a mix of both but if I had to pick one it'd be hypertrophy.

i think 220 is a good place to aim, if you are not a fatty when you get to 220, then just keep going...
I personally would go with eating as much as it takes to put on weight, and see strength gains. when the strength gaisn stop, eat more.

I still feel like a fatty as is but I figure that if on my path to 220 I keep the amount of BF gained low compared to the Lean mass gains I'll be ok to deal with it.

wow... thanks.. I was asking for specific advice. I've read the stickies. No reason to treat me like an idiot. The Xenadrine question is noobish but I'm just not sure if elimating a thermo from my supp list will help or hinder my goal of adding lean mass. Its hard to go from cut mode to bulk mode.

not treating you like an idiot.
I assumed you didn't read the stickies like you're assuming I'm calling you an idiot. Simmer the fuck down. All F&N people aren't out to get you, geez!!!

I'm sure there is info about Xenadrine in one of those as well.

No reason to get angry. It just seemed like you only read the title and not the post contained within.
