Tight bass = box design + power supply

you can make 2 10w1's sound amazing if you do it right. I dont mean to come off like im teaching a class of rookies, but theres not alot of details in your post to pick a specific woofer.

i made the post kind of quick last night; i was throwing a party and i started talking to him about it so i threw a thread up quick before i forgot

i talked to him about box design and how ported can sound good when done properly, so on and so forth

but this is what he wants:

tight bass, he was looking at doing 2 10s in a sealed enclosure

he golfs and needs room for a bag so small enclosure is key (thus sealed)

and he wants the bass to go relatively loud

so im thinking subs that would be labelled SQLish in nature

    im looking for second opinions

i also want to try getting him some good bang for his buck (thats kind of a given though lolz )

how big we talking here? he could do a sealed 12w6 with about a cube of airspace, or a 13w6 for about a 1.25~ sealed.

if TC sounds till has their OEM 10s for sale, 2 of those would probably sound great.

I just got my Tc2000 15 installed, and it sounds great.

Maybe an ED 130v2. It would work well in a small sealed box and you could probably get a good package deal discount if you ordered a 9.1 amp as well :dunno:

Pair of Fi SSD 10's with copper coils.

    Drop them in 1.5-2cubes sealed.

Cost efficient, will get him exactly what he wants.
