I'm trying to find a place to shoot out in the AZ desert that isn't too far, but I can't find any laws on where I can and can't shoot. It's probably just because I'm too tired to google effectively, but any help would be appreciated.

I think it's 1 mile from any buildings or highways, but I can't find anything saying that.

That'll probably be a county thing, you might check with your local sheriff's office for some pointers in the right direction.

I'm happy for you, but that does not help me :hahano:

I think I can use the BLM unit 20b according to the shooting tucson site. But not the lake park, and 1 mile from the roads. Something like this...

If you come to MN you can shoot all you want. :)

When I used to visit AZ there were a lot of open areas that I'd consider shooting at. But, I haven't been to AZ since my dad passed away. :(

    I've been wondering this too.

A few months back a few of my buddies and I went riding our dirtbikes at 4 peaks. We saw shotgun shells and casings everywhere, so we started going there when we wanted to shoot away from the range. It's pretty far from you though. :hs:
