Get the 4 port Linksys with built in wireless. I'm not a fan of any consumer level item like this but it's the better of a few pieces of crap. :)

I'm planning to go gigabit for a portion of my network (file server, main download computer, and DVD burner PC), with 10/100 on the rest of it (kids/wifes' PCs, xbox, etc) with a wireless router for when I need it.

All of the components I'll use will be Linksys. I wouldn't use anything else personally, because Linksys has never given me reason not to use it. I've had a router fail, but with anything that runs 24/7/365 for 21 months, I don't really call that bad for $80.
